The Uhlin Residence was designed as a larger version of my favorite Spring Valley house.  In the end, only the main living space and the general arrangement of rooms remained.  This home was designed and built by us for a busy professional couple with a desire for an open, light filled home that was gentle on the budget.  We used many economical materials in dramatic, yet efficient ways to achieve that aim.
